This weekend I decided to catch up on some movie watching that I have been wanting to do. I rented The Rundown and Timeline.
First off was The Rundown. It was suprisingly good. It was the first movie starring The Rock that I have seen. I think he is definitely turning into a great action star. I really liked it. Seann William Scott provided some very good comedic relief to the movie too. If you like fairly mindless action you will like this one for sure.
Next was Timeline. The only reason I wanted to see this one is because it was based on a Michael Crichton book (my favourite author for those who don't know). It turned out to be OK. There were definitely alot deviations from the book but the story still held together. I probably would have enjoyed it much more if I hadn't read the book. If you think you would like a movie about a time machine and a medieval war all rolled together you might like this one.
Thats it for now. I'm hoping to check out Kill Bill Vol 1 and Master and Commander this week sometime. I'll let you know how those turn out.
